The Children’s Communities programme

emerged from a shared commitment across communities in London, Manchester and North Tyneside, to improve the life chances of children and young people in their areas.

I worked closely with Paul Perkins, who at the time was Head of Local Systems Change, in interviewing the communities and stakeholders involved in person.

In preparation, we worked with Collaborate CIC, a Social Change consultancy, to design workshops for mapping and analysing the different communities' progress, and future prospects. The workshop format meant we conducted consistent conversations across the communities, which resulted in measurable outcomes in capturing their progress and future road maps.

Having co-facilitated the conversations, I was able to assist Paul with synthesising the community's insights, whilst I designed graphics and concept diagrams for the outcome report.
